WINZ won't run from networked application

While the data can be on the net, and is recommended to be so, the application must be run from the hard disk.

If you have terminal server, then it is run as a pseudo hard disk operation. This usually works fine. In all other circumstances though, trying to run the application from the network can lead to difficult-to-find problems and usually ends up with the application unusable.
